Massive Acute Pulmonary Embolism in A Pregnant Patient Who Underwent Thrombolytic Treatment in Emergency Service

Acute pulmonary embolism (APE) is one of the most important preventable mortality causes during pregnancy. In this case report, a 24-week pregnant patient who were diagnosed with APE and underwent thrombolytic treatment was discussed in light literature review. The 27-year-old female patient, pregnant, applied to emergency service sudden shortness breath chest pain. Since hemodynamic condition unstable, no imaging could be carried out radiology unit. As result right ventricular load symptoms detected bedside Transthoracic Echocardiography (ECO), massive diagnosed, initiated. should considered patients are admitted services pain complaints. Patients excessively unstable for unit evaluated quickly transthoracic ECO terms embolism.
